Our Story
Major League Renovations, also referred to as MLR, is a local & family-owned construction company in Atlanta, GA, founded in 2004 by Brandon Hardy and his father, Jeff Hardy.
Brandon is a licensed general contractor with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Jeff is a licensed architect who excels at design and optimizing floor plan layouts using the space provided.
Back in 2018, the company structure changed with Brandon and his wife, Desiree, becoming 100% owners of MLR, with Jeff stepping away from his partnership roles. Today Jeff still often teams with MLR on larger scale projects where design and architecture are required. With their years of experience working together, this provides a seamless and efficient process. However, in many cases, a client will already have their own architect, and MLR is more than happy to work alongside them as well.
Our Mission
At MLR, we have adopted a model that “less is more” and therefore never take on too many projects at one time. Although we do larger-scale jobs, we typically only have 2-3 going at any given moment. This provides Brandon the availability and opportunity to act as Project Manager on each and every job, with him onsite daily for quality control and to personally work alongside the client. This also allows us to complete jobs on schedule, and in some cases, ahead of schedule because, unlike many contractors, we never take on more than we can handle. Over the years, we have established a close-knit group of quality & skilled subcontractors that we ally with on each and every endeavor. Our promise to all of our clients we partner with is to provide high-quality workmanship in a timely and efficient manner in order to make the process as smooth and easy as possible.

Major League Renovations has been wonderful to work with on the two projects that they did at my house. The first was a kitchen/laundry room remodel. The second was changing the look of the outside of the house – installing a deck, screened porch, outdoor fireplace, concrete steps and expanding the patio. Brandon is professional, shows up on time, cleans up every day, and has good subs as well. We are going to use this company again on our next project.

Brandon and Jeff are such a pleasure to work with. It’s hard to find a contractor that is reliable, trustworthy, and timely but Brandon and his team of trades are all of that- in addition to the beautiful craftsmanship. He’s personally there at the end of the day to inspect and address any questions/concerns. MLR went over and beyond on multiple occasions to accommodate and assist us with our multiple construction projects and we could not be happier.
